Journal Entry #32 “Mountains”

(Last Updated On: October 23, 2017)

What’s every peoples? It’s been a couple days because of my mountain trip… And I cried more than once going up into the mountains. Asheville on up to Bristol is one of the most breathtaking drives in all of creation. On top of that, my wife’s Aunt Kim gave us incredible room and board and took us out to eat at amazing restaurants, and I was able to share my music and stories with her in return. It was an excellent journey.

Now, back to writing.

(Obviously, this was inspired by my trip.

That uphill road to conquer-
The majesty and might
Of earth raised up by God
Into the heavenly heights
Is to me far dearer
Than adventures upon the sea,
Or trekking across the prairies
Though beautiful they may be.
My heart seeks mountain giants
Full of sleeping mysteries
Stags and bears and cougars
Upon those craggy peaks.
And once the top is reached,
And you stop to look around,
God displays his wonders for you
There’s few greater joys to be found.

Well that’s gonna do it for this one. Hope you enjoyed. 🙂

f you’re liking what I’ve been putting out and want to encourage me to make more, and make things better quality, the best thing you can do is pledge me a dollar a month (Or more) at – I’ll be eternally grateful if you do. 🙂
